Octopath Traveler H'aanit

Octopath Traveler Shrine Locations: All Job and Secret Job Shrine Locations

The Octopath Traveler Shrine Locations are some of the most important “collectibles” that you can find in the entire game. Each of the eight main characters has a specific class that they are from Warrior to Cleric (think White Mage) to Dancer. However, what the game doesn’t explain to you unless you stumble upon it is that all eight of them can equip another job class.

This secondary job class gives almost all of the benefits of the class from stat increases to spells. In order to get one, though, you need to find all of the Octopath Traveler Shrine Locations. These shrines unlock each secondary job for your team. Here’s everything you need to know.

Octopath Traveler Shrine Locations Explained

Before we get into where you can find the Octopath Traveler Shrine Locations, there are some basic rules that you should know. There are eight shrines representing the eight character classes plus an additional four that are hidden job classes. While the original eight can be found basically upon completing each of the eight character’s respective first chapter, the other four are best found after reaching at least level 50.

Additionally, only one character can equip a secondary Job from one of the Octopath Traveler Shrine Locations at a time. This means that Primrose the Dancer can’t equip the Cleric Job if Olberic the Warrior already has it. That does mean, though, that you can have two Clerics in your party if you have Olberic and the original Cleric Ophilia together.

Now, here are the Octopath Traveler Shrine Locations:

  • Cleric – The Shrine of the Flamebearer is found in the Western Stillsnow Wilds near Stillsnow City
  • Scholar – The Shrine of the Sage is found in Western Noblecourt Flats
