It seems like Hello Games is working on overdrive these days, with almost weekly updates for No Man’s Sky having been a fixture in the game in recent times. The massive No Man’s Sky NEXT update arrived last month, causing a huge increase in player base numbers for the game. Earlier today, Hello Games released the No Man’s Sky 1.57 Update Patch Notes for the PC version of the game, which will gradually roll out to other Xbox One and PS4 in the near future. It features faster loading times, better graphics, as well as various bug fixes and improvements.

One of the biggest improvements in the No Man’s Sky 1.57 Update has to be the faster loading times. These improvements to load times include approximately five to ten percent faster warp times and a sizeable 30 percent improvement to initial game load. That’s certainly going to make a lot of players happy, granting a much better overall experience for newcomers and space-faring vets alike.

Besides the faster loading times, the No Man’s Sky 1.57 Update also adds better graphics to the game. For starters, the appearance of clouds in 4K/1440p modes have been improved. Additionally, players should be able to notice visual improvements to some exotic biomes, space station technology merchants and buried technology modules. The visibility of underground toxic hazards has also been increased.

There are also several quality-of-life improvements in the No Man’s Sky 1.57 Update. Marked icons will now automatically clear when players arrive at the marked target. Target locking for ship PvP and appearance of HUD markers on player ships have been improved. Combat music should now trigger when encountering biological horrors, who now deals slightly increased damage.
