Yakuza Kiwami 2 Get Money Fast: How to Farm Yen

Yakuza Kiwami 2 makes it a bit tougher to get money fast. In Yakuza 0 and Kiwami you could farm cash pretty easily, but now there are only a few good ways to generate income, at least till you’re a little way into the game. Below we’ll show you how to get cash fast in Yakuza Kiwami 2 early on and how to farm money later in the game.

How to Get Money Fast in Yakuza Kiwami 2 Early

There’s one way to rake in some major (for the start of the game) dough early on, but you’ll have to wait a bit to utilize it. While you’re waiting, you can do a few things to make the Yen come in a bit quicker. Unlocking the Life Skill “Token of Appreciation” will cause enemies to drop cash and items more often, which can help line your pockets. You can also unlock “Law of Attraction” to make Nouveau Riche thugs spawn randomly. They’re easy to beat and give you 50,000 or so each time you beat them.

Early on, though, the best way to get some significant cash is to gamble. More specifically, you’re going to cheat at gambling. You can do this at the casino in Sotenbori or Kamurocho so you can start as early as chapter 2. Before you head to the card tables, though, you need to grab two items from Sotenbori Coin Lockers E3 and E4.

• To get the key for locker E3, all you need to do is look just west of Don Quixote’s north entrance.
• For key E4 you need to look in front of the information booth on East Shofukucho Street.

In locker E3 you’ll find the Blackjack Amulet, which will ensure you get nothing but Blackjacks for a limited amount of time when you play the game. In E4 you’ll find a Bust Amulet which will ensure the dealer at a Blackjack table busts every time for a short period.

Once you have those two items, head over to the casino of your choice, buy some chips, and hit the Blackjack table. While you’re placing a bet, you can hit triangle and use one of those two items. Now you just have to max out your bet every time until you get a message the item has worn off. When the first one wears off, use the second one and gamble until it’s finished.

By the time you use both the Bust Amulet and the Blackjack Amulet, you should have won a massive amount of chips. Just head over to the cashier and exchange them for as many Platinum and Gold plates as you can. Take the plates and go to your nearest pawn shop to sell them for a ton of Yen.

How to Farm Cash in Yakuza Kiwami 2

The above will get you a nice nest egg built, but later on, in the game, you can keep the cash flowing. Once you hit chapter 4, you can start farming money using the cabaret club.

Just play through the story as normal, and you’ll be introduced to the Cabaret Club Grand Prix late in chapter 4. This is where you’ll make the big bucks as any money you make that doesn’t go to salary, and other expenses are yours to keep.

You won’t earn much starting out, but as you progress to higher cups, you’ll start making some real bank. The best part is you can just do it over and over and make tons of cash.
