Fortnite Valkyrie and Valkyrie Wings: How to Get Valkyrie Skin in Fortnite

With the latest leaks, we now have a good look at the new Fortnite Valkyrie skin and Valkyrie Wings back bling. These two new Norse cosmetics have been datamined late in Fortnite season five, so will we be seeing this as part of season six? Or will they come out earlier in the item shop? Let’s have a look at the Fortnite Valkyrie skin release date.

What is the Fortnite Valkyrie Skin?

The Fortnite Valkyrie skin is one of the new outfits that was revealed in the latest data mine of the game. It is a legendary rarity skin that depicts a Fortnite version of the legendary warriors of Norse mythology. The skin very likely is a combination of  Huntress and Ragnarok skins from the season five battle pass. This is because it takes various elements from both outfits, such as the blue glowing eyes and the fact that she is a female Viking of legend.

What is the Fortnite Valkyrie Wings Back Bling?

The Fortnite Valkyrie Wings Back Bling looks to be part of a set with the Valkyrie skin. This is because of the shared aesthetic of an ancient Nordic theme. Additionally, it shares the look of the Frostwing glider that was also revealed recently. It is also of a legendary rarity.

How to get the Fortnite Valkyrie Skin and Back Bling

The easiest way to possibly grab this set of skins is through the item shop. Since they are of legendary rarity, they will cost you 2,000 V-Bucks together in one set. Judging from previous leaks, if the skin is released this way, expect it to be out within the next couple of weeks.

However, there is more evidence for the skin and back bling releasing through the season six battle pass. This is because of the association with the Huntress and Ragnarok skins. They were both available in the season five battle pass, one at each end of the rewards tiers. If this is the way to get the skin, expect to see it near the end of the tiers since the cosmetics are of a Legendary rarity.
