Wondering where to find the Bat Hinge in Torna the Golden Country? An early quest has you head out on the hunt for the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Bat Hinge, but they’re not as easy to find as you might expect. You likely need these to complete the Seeking a Seeker quest as you attempt to learn how to open the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Old Machines scattered across Torna the Golden Country.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Bat Hinge: Where to Find Bat Hinge in Torna the Golden Country
Part of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Seeking a Seeker quest, shortly after making the Silver Seeker, has you hunt down one Bat Hinge and a Scarlet Coil. As good game design will tell you, the key to finding these two items is to use the tools provided by the quest itself. This means using the Silver Seeker to open the Old Machines in order to track down the items requested. The quest giver basically gives you the means to complete the task.
But for one reason or another, finding the Scarlet Coil proves easier than the Bat Hinge. If you’re having trouble finding the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Bat Hinge, don’t go thinking it isn’t in one of the many Old Machines scattered across the game. It is, but maybe it’s in a specific one.
The easiest way to track down a Bat Hinge is to head back to Lascham Cove. Fast Travel back there and leave through the front entrance. On your left behind the wooden structure and fence of Lascham Cove is an Old Machine. Use your Silver Seeker on this Old Machine and you should find the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Bat Hinge. If not, simply talk to an NPC in the cove you haven’t spoken to before or fast travel back. Either step should refresh the zone and cause the Old Machine to respawn, giving you another chance.
If you’re still having no luck, check to see if a Nopon called Dudan isn’t stood close to that same wooden shed. If he is, talk to him and accept his quest. If you have the materials on hand to craft the Silver Cylinder he needs, you’ll get a whopping 17 Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Bat Hinges for your help (after killing an enemy fished up in his salvaging attempt). Easy!
