Players have reported that their experience with Black Ops 4 TDM (Team Deathmatch) so far has been different to that of previous Call of Duty titles. When searching for TDM, players have been told that there are too many players in their party. Here’s a guide on how to successfully join TDM in a party in Call of Duty Black Ops 4.
Black Ops 4 TDM Too Many Players – How to Fix
The issue was reported on Reddit and has since been rectified for the user. There are many glitches in the game at present, such as the fact that Black Ops 4 won’t launch for some players, and the “too many players” prompt in TDM seems to be just another glitch, albeit a very minor one.
Team Deathmatch in Black Ops 4 hosts 10 to 12 players, so a party of six should technically be able to search for a match. However, some players are having trouble doing so in regular TDM at present. Until Treyarch rectifies the issue, affected parties of six can head over to Chaos TDM. This game mode contains 6v6 versions of the game modes that aren’t objective-oriented: Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed.
Playing Chaos TDM instead should work in theory, but players will still be at risk of the other errors that Black Ops 4 is currently experiencing, These fatal error codes are game-breaking bugs that cause the game to force stop, causing the player to lose progress. They can occur in Blackout, Zombies, and competitive multiplayer, meaning that players are at risk in all online modes at present. Unfortunately, there is no official fix for these fatal error codes yet.
However, our fatal error code guide will instruct players on how to decrease the risk of error to a minimum, making them far less likely to encounter errors. Following this guide is the best option available to players at present, as Treyarch has yet to produce an official solution
