Black Ops 4 How to Play With Bots – Can I Play Offline?

Want to know how to play with bots in Black Ops 4? Look no further! While the spectre of Black Ops 4 offline play, particularly in the absence of a traditional story mode this time around, will probably rear its ugly head again and again, the AI friends and foes you can bring into certain lobbies with you certainly helps matter. Here’s how to play with Black Ops 4 bots in Multiplayer and Zombies.

Black Ops 4 How to Play with Bots – Multiplayer

While bots don’t show up in online Multiplayer matches, you can set up your own custom lobby and fill it with as many (or as few) bots as you desire.

To do so, head into the main Multiplayer lobby and click the sliders symbol to the right of “Scorestreaks.” Once you’ve done that, click the map image on the right of the screen, which brings up the Custom Games menu. The bottom of the screen will now have two options: “Add Bot” and “Remove Bot.” Both are pretty self-explanatory, but you can also tweak the skill level of the AI under “Bot Settings.” You have a choice of Recruit, Regular, Hardened, or Veteran.

Then there’s just one thing left to do: press Play!

Black Ops 4 How to Play with Bots – Zombies

While our Black Ops 4 tips guide may warn against it, you can use bots in Zombies yet again. In fact, setting it up isn’t worlds apart from its multiplayer brethren. Simply press the sliders symbol next to Armory and you’ll be whisked away to your squad screen, wherein you can add and remove bots, though there’s no option to increase their skill level, unfortunately.

Are There Black Ops 4 Bots in Blackout?

Sorry to mess with your emotions, but you cannot play Blackout with bots, no matter how much you want to. It’s an online-only affair, with human players roaming around a big map. We can’t have the pesky AI butting in and ruining our fun now, can we?
