Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 1.05 Update Patch Notes – What’s Changed in the New Update?

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 1.05 update went live for the PS4 and Xbox One earlier today. Similar to last week’s 1.04 update, this new update is smaller in size and functions more as a hotfix rather than a major update. Ubisoft revealed the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey update 1.05 patch notes yesterday, but additional information has been taken from the update history on the PS4.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 1.05 Update Patch Notes – Improved Stability

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 1.05 update arrives at only 0.16 GB and 0.1 GB on the PS4 and Xbox One, respectively. As such, this new update only brings with it minor improvements, which includes “improved stability.” In fact, that’s all that is stated on the update history for the PS4 version of the game. This might be the simplest update for the game since launch to date.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 1.05 Update Patch Notes – Game-Breaking Issues Addressed

Besides improved stability, Ubisoft confirms that the new update has fixed at least one game-breaking issue. This particular issue led to crashes to the dashboard for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Like previous updates, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 1.05 update won’t be hitting PC players until later. This is usually because the PC version has its own set of issues that need to be addressed and prioritized.

Meanwhile, the developer/publisher has also recently announced that this week’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey live event has been canceled. This was confirmed via a post by the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account yesterday. However, next week’s live event will proceed as planned, starting from October 23, 2018. Players can look forward to hunting down an Epic Ship, which will reward them with unique loot.

In the meantime, we’ll have to wait for the official patch notes from Ubisoft for more details and information on the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 1.05 update.
