Fallout 76 Black Titanium

Fallout 76 Black Titanium – Where to Find

You’ll need to find Fallout 76 Black Titanium if you’re looking to get your greasy mitts on the Excavator Power Armor. The trouble is, Black Titanium is quite rare, and therefore difficult to find. If you’re looking to find some Black Titanium in Fallout 76, however, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll let you in on all the juicy little details regarding that particular ore.

Fallout 76 Black Titanium – What is It?

Black Titanium is a crafting item you can find in Fallout 76. It does what it says on the tin. This is titanium, but black. As stated above, you’ll need to get hold of some Black Titanium in order to craft the Excavator Power Armor. Our guide (which is handily linked to in the opening paragraph), explains that you’ll find Excavator Power Armor schematics in the Garrahan Mining HQ. In total, you’ll need 36 pieces of Black Titanium in order to craft the Excavator Power Armor, but where can we find this?

Fallout 76 Black Titanium

You can get Black Titanium in a number of different ways. You can collect it off the corpses of downed Legendary Deathclaws, located on an island to the north of the Mothman Museum (highlighted in the map above).

Another way to get your hands on some Black Titanium is by looting and scrapping Mole Miner suits. These can be found in the region of the “Miner Miracles” quest in the Garrahan Mining Headquarters. Again, this is highlighted in the map above.

Alternatively, however, there is a third way of going about finding Black Titanium in Fallout 76. Located in a small town called Welch in the Ash Heap region, you will find a Vending Machine. This Vending Machine contains mining maps pertaining to the location of mining sites. These small heaps of rocks and earth contain at least 10 pieces of Black Titanium and a maximum of 20. Other items such as Caps and different minerals will also be yours thanks to these maps. Be warned, however, that there are three maps to buy, which will set you back a grand total of 300 Caps for the lot. We’ve highlighted Welch in the map above.
