Vault 63

One of the first Fallout 76 power armor locations players will come across, Vault 63 is located south of Vault 76. There’s a power frame here, but if someone else has taken it, you might need to leave and return at a later date so that enough time elapses for it to respawn. Again, this can be obtained very early on, so it’s likely that players will be nabbing this almost immediately after each iteration of it spawns.

Clarksburg

Clarksburg is the robot-infested town located above the water park. There’s a building here with a fire escape attached to it. You’ll know it’s the right one because the escape doesn’t quite touch the ground. If you loop around the building, you’ll see a barricade that you can barge through. Head upstairs, use the fire escape, and collect your power armor next to the green trunk in the mechanic’s repair shop.

Camden Park

There’s a Raider camp here… in the rollercoaster. You can find power armor in the Raider camp… in the rollercoaster.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Hornright Industrial Mining Company

This one is pretty nice, as you’ll be collecting power armor as part of a mission called “The Motherlode.” It takes some time, but it’s a sure way of reaching a power armor frame, which is definitely worth more than spending time twiddling your thumbs. The frame is located next to two Docking Station Vending Machines at the bottom of the stairs that leads to the basement.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Wade Airport

There are two sets of power armor up for grabs here. The first can be found in the most northerly hanger before the end up the runway. Head inside and you’ll see a power armor station in the corner.

The other can be found in a blue trailer located in the southwestern corner of the runway—watch out, though. This trailer is locked and booby-trapped, so you’ll need to work for this Raider power armor.

fallout 76 power armor locations

WV Lumber Co

This is located in the north-westerly corner of Appalachia. As with the previous locations, it’s pretty huge and difficult to miss; however, beginners should steer clear, as this frame is guarded by Super Mutants. If you’re willing to risk it, you can find two frames in a warehouse. The one beside the interior stairs should have power armor attached to it.

Red Rocket Filling Station

Behind the station, you’ll see two red fuel tanks; beside them is a wire fence. Here, you’ll find a power armor station.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Nuka-Cola plant

This stands out like a sore thumb, so finding it won’t be difficult. If you’re able to pick locks, head to the massive bottle-shaped building and scour the basement for a power armor frame. Easy peasy.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Eastern Regional Penitentiary

Like the Lumber Mill, this place is crawling with Super Mutants. Come with a team, or a Fat Man, or when you’re a very high level. There’s power armor in the yellow house, which can be accessed after you’ve beaten up all the Super Mutants.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Point Pleasant

There’s a lot going on in Point Pleasant, but what you want to look for is the garage below the ruined bridge. It’s easy enough to spot, as it’s actually at street level. You can find a power armor frame in the garage.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Pleasant Valley

Here, you’ll find a Raider arena of sorts, attached to one of the buildings in Pleasant Valleys’s Raider town. There’s a power armor station right in the middle of the arena.

Aaronholt Homestead

Go north to Vault 73 and then divert west. When you see a farm, stop. There should be a power generator with a fusion core in sight. Take the core, as you’ll need it to power the power armor you’re about to find in the shed beside a trio of silos.

Silo Shed Near Billing Homestead

Go to the Nuka-Cola plant, then head north. You should reach a place marked on your map as “Billings Homestead Workshop.” There are some silos to the north of the area with a shed located beside them. Inside the shed is your grand prize.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Huntersville

There are two sets of power armor here. One set can be found behind the metal building that’s located beside the Super Mutant hanging cages.

The second set can be found in the Brotherhood of Steel graveyard to the southeast of Huntersville. It’s looted from a dead Brotherhood of Steel soldier.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Watoga Civic Center

When you reach this area of Watoga, you’ll immediately be able to see a vertibird. Except, it’s not flying, because it’s crashed. There’s some power armor scattered on the ground next to it, so be sure to take it before you move on.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Grafton Dam

Here, you can easily find some power armor right outside the main dam building. It’s in a metal storage shed located in the parking lot.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Mama Dolce’s Food Processing

Look for Mama Dolce’s Food in Morgantown (it isn’t hard to find). Now, look for a small shed south of the Food Processing plant (this is hard to find, unless you’re looking for it). This unassuming building has a fusion core embedded in the generator beside it, so grab that and collect your new power armor from inside. Watch out, though, as the shed is booby-trapped.

fallout 76 power armor locations

Fort Defiance

There are a whopping four sets of power armor that can be found here. The first three are worn by fallen Brotherhood of Steel soldiers, who can be found:

  • On the steps of the main entrance.
  • To the left of the main entrance.
  • Near the vertibird, slumping against the wall of the outer defenses.

The last set of power armor is located in the building itself, on the Brotherhood of Steel upper floor.
