Pokemon Let’s Go Mewtwo Gone – How to Get Mewtwo Back

The Pokemon Let’s Go Mewtwo gone glitch is scaring aspiring trainers the world over, as the powerful Pokemon has the ability to wipe out even the strongest teams with ease. Many reports have surfaced online in which people have stated that Mewtwo is missing from Cerulean Cave after having been defeated in battle by the formidable foe. Fear not, though, as the Mewtwo error isn’t actually an error at all. Here’s a guide on how to get Mewtwo back in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee if he disappears from Cerulean Cave.

Pokemon Let’s Go Mewtwo Gone – How to Get Mewtwo Back

Reports of the Pokemon Let’s Go Mewtwo gone glitch have began to surface after a recent Reddit post drew attention to the fact that Mewtwo had disappeared from Cerulean Cave after a player went back to fight him a second time. This, however, is only temporary and can easily be remedied.

You see, Cerulean Cave opens up after you defeat the Elite Four and become the Pokemon League Champion. Although the cave remains open from this point on, Mewtwo will disappear if he defeats you until you beat the Elite Four again. The reasons for this are unclear, but the same thing works for the Legendary Birds, too.

If Mewtwo, Zapdos, Articuno, or Moltres beat you in battle, all you need to do is quickly beat the Elite Four and go back to where you encounter them. They will have respawned, which will give you the opportunity to fight them again. This works indefinitely, but it’s best to just train your team to a high enough level so that you can beat them next time, as this will save you lots of time in the long run.

So; don’t worry if Mewtwo is gone. He will return once you beat the Elite Four again.
