So you need a bit more bang for your buck? Dynamite can be improved using the crafting system into Volatile Dynamite. Volatile Dynamite is the most powerful explosive in Red Dead Redemption 2 and can stop anything the game throws at you in its tracks.

However, you can’t just buy Volatile Dynamite, you’ll have to get the recipe for it. There are two ways to do this. You can get it for free by heading north of Emerald Station, and northeast of Heartland Overflow, to a location called Hani’s Bethel. North of the small pond there you’ll find a wagon. By the carriage is a chest that contains the recipe for Volatile Dynamite.

You can also buy the recipe for Volatile Dynamite at fences after the mission “American Distillation.” To craft Volatile Dynamite you just need to get the recipe from one of the two possible methods and combine a stick of Dynamite with one animal fat and one High-Velocity Cartridge.
