Black Ops 4 Battle Edition

Black Ops 4 Battle Edition vs Standard – What is the Difference?

While Call of Duty Black Ops 4 has been out for a while now, Activision is still planning on releasing a Black Ops 4 Battle Edition. What are the benefits of the Black Ops 4 Battle Edition vs Standard, and what is the difference between the two versions of the game? Read on to find out.

What Is the Black Ops 4 Battle Edition?

Although millions of us have been playing and enjoying all the content Black Ops 4 has to offer, it appears that Activision and Treyarch think there are still people out there who need to try Blackout and the online multiplayer. The Black Ops 4 Battle Edition contains just those two elements of the game at a reduced price compared to the standard edition. Black Ops 4 Battle Edition doesn’t feature the Zombies mode in any capacity, and instead offers only Multiplayer and Blackout. Good for those of us not looking for a scare.

Other Black Ops 4 Battle Edition vs Standard Differences

As stated above, the major difference between the Black Ops 4 Battle Edition vs Standard is the lack of Zombies in the Battle Edition. Another big difference is in the price. On the Blizzard Battle.net store, the Battle Edition will set you back $29.99, rather than the $38.99 cost of the Standard Edition. Of course, however, the Battle.net store is currently having a sale. Expect the price to rise in January.

Another major difference between the Battle Edition and Standard Edition is the fact that, as of writing, you can only buy the Black Ops 4 Battle Edition on PC. Those of us without a relatively powerful PC will have to make do with the Standard Edition on PS4 or Xbox One, but honestly, with second-hand copies doing the rounds, it’ll likely be cheaper than the Battle Edition before long, and will include the Zombies mode in full.

For everything Black Ops 4, keep on keeping on GameRevolution.
