Destiny 2 D.A.R.C.I. Sniper Rifle – How to Get

There’s a lot of great and powerful weapons to choose from in Destiny 2, and the best you can possibly get are the Exotic Weapons. If you’re after a great long-range sniper rifle, for instance, you can’t do much better in the game than the Destiny 2 D.A.R.C.I. rifle. But what is this acronym-tastic weapon? Where can you get it? And what does “D.A.R.C.I.” stand for? We’ve got the answers to all these questions.

What is the Destiny 2 D.A.R.C.I. Rifle?

The Destiny 2 D.A.R.C.I. is an exotic sniper rifle, a power weapon by design. It’s rated at 650 Power, and it has a number of superb perks. Its intrinsic perk is “Personal Assistant,” which shows you health and other important information about enemies when you aim at them. “Target Acquired” adds better target acquisition and deals more precision damage when using Personal Assistant. Then there are more general upgrades, such as Extended Mag, Extended Barrel, and one for greatly increasing handling speed. An effective weapon.

Oh, and it stands for “Data Analysis, Reconnaissance and Cooperative Intelligence” device.

How to Get the Destiny 2 D.A.R.C.I. Sniper Rifle

You can normally get the D.A.R.C.I. Sniper Rifle through random loot drops in both PvE and PvP, as well as Strikes and Crucible rewards. Exotic Engrams, especially through heroic public events, are you best bet at getting hold of the rifle. If you’re quick, though, there’s a more convenient way…

Is Xur Selling the D.A.R.C.I. Rifle?

As of right now, until Tuesday January 1 the trader Xur has the D.A.R.C.I. rifle in his stock, along with Ashen Wake, Ophidia Spathe, and The Stag. These can all be purchased from Xur for 23 Legendary Shards. His current location is Titan, close to The Rig landing zone. He often frequents there, but he doesn’t always have the D.A.R.C.I. Sniper Rifle in his inventory, as that changes every week. You have until the year is out to get it, otherwise you’re back to farming loot drops for it…
