Kingdom Hearts 3

Kingdom Hearts 3 length | How many hours to beat the KH3 story?

It’s early days, but you’re probably wondering how long it’ll take to beat Kingdom Hearts 3. The Kingdom Hearts 3 length may actually be slightly shorter than you were expecting but, with the additional side-content, the total amount of hours to complete Kingdom Hearts 3 100% will probably have you jumping for joy. Let’s not waste time: Here’s how long the KH3 story takes to complete.

What is the Kingdom Hearts 3 story length?

Depending on whether you want to grind or not, Kingdom Hearts 3 should clock in at around 25-30 hours. That’s slightly shorter than some of the other games in the series but it’ll still take up a good chunk of your time regardless. For reference, it took me 26 hours to see the screen above.

However, if you want to feel more powerful going into the final series of fights, the Kingdom Hearts 3 length could easily stretch to a solid 35-40 hours, especially if you take your time leveling up. At a minimum, though, even with all cutscenes skipped, I can’t evisage anyone going south of 18-20 hours. But never say never.

While the Kingdom Hearts 3 endgame and side content may not stack up to some of its predecessors, there’s still a whole bunch to see and do, especially when it comes to minigames, hidden collectibles, and secondary missions in some of the Disney worlds. Finding all Lucky Emblems, for example, or sprucing up your pirate ship in The Caribbean will take a considerably long amount of time.

That’s without taking into account the Battlegates and Gummi combat challenges that litter the world(s). Seeing and doing everything and completing Kingdom Hearts 3 100% will almost definitely take you 50 hours, 45 hours at a push. There’s even the possibility of a Final Mix to come, which could extend the amount of hours needed to beat Kingdom Hearts 3 even further.
