The Division 2 Private Beta is live now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it appears to be full of bugs and glitches. One such bug is the Division 2 Beta White House locked gate. Part of the story during the Private Beta has you enter into the White House grounds. Or, it is meant to. Plenty of you have been arriving where the game tells you to go, only to find the White House gate is locked.
Read on to discover how you can enter into the White House grounds if its gate is locked. It’s quite the simple workaround, so don’t fret.
Division 2 Beta White House locked gate | What’s the issue?
During The Division 2 Private Beta, you will be asked to enter the White House grounds after you have reached the White House lawn. The trouble is, the game’s GPS line takes you directly to a locked gate. Of course, this blocks your progress. Is there a way to unlock the gate? Or is your progress halted altogether? Read on to find out.
Division 2 Beta White House locked gate | How to enter the White House
Thankfully, the locked White House gate is a known issue for Ubisoft. As such, the developer has already nailed down a workaround. Their fix, posted on the official Ubisoft support forum, is: “When facing the gate, turn left and continue towards the White House.” Hopefully, this should work for you. Turn left from the locked gate, keep going and follow the path that leads to the White House. Simple enough.
If this doesn’t work, however, you might have to delete your character and try again. This worked for a Private Beta player on Twitter. Hopefully, this bug is fixed in time for the full release of The Division 2 on March 15, 2019. Perhaps it will even be fixed before the Private Beta is over.
