PC players are growing tired of the Anthem visible mouse cursor bug. It might not seem like a major issue in the grand scheme of things, error wise, but it’s enough to be frustrating those during gameplay sessions outside of menus. Find out what the Anthem visible mouse cursor bug fix is with our help.
Anthem visible mouse cursor bug
The Anthem visible mouse cursor bug was first found during by early access players who were able to play BioWare’s RPG title from February 15. Posted on the EA community forums by user Fred_vfp, the issue has since become a common one for PC players.
Whenever players are engaged in fights, conducting missions, or just roaming around in freeplay, the mouse cursor is supposed to be invisible. It’s only coded to show up when players open up a menu, so that they can locate the tab or information that they need. However, a lot are finding that the mouse cursor can still be seen during gameplay sessions outside of menus, and it’s off putting to say the least.
Anthem visible mouse cursor bug fix
Players had hoped that the game’s day one patch would fix the Anthem visible mouse cursor bug. It hasn’t though. Gamers have continued to post in the above thread about it, and are resorting to other measures to resolve it themselves.
One user explained that deleting the Xbox Accessories app on your PC temporarily solves the problem, but it isn’t long before the cursor can be seen again. Another said opening and closing the menu in quick succession gets rid of it but, again, this isn’t a clear fix.
Finally, some players have had luck by changing to a full screen resolution, or playing Anthem borderless. This doesn’t work for everyone, but it’s the best shot you’ve got at removing this glitch for the time being.
