A new event — Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour — is coming to Niantic’s smartphone game in the very near future. The experimental timed event will be trialled to see if users like it, before potentially becoming a regular feature. Find out when the first Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour start time is.
Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour | Start time
The first Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour event is due to take place on Wednesday, March 13. Niantic revealed that, given the name of these events, that players will only have one hour to make the most of them.
For the March 13 trial run, Pokemon Go players will be able to experience the hour-long event between 12 PM and 1 PM. This is the same 60-minute period for your local time zone too. So, for example, UK players can enjoy this between 12 PM and 1 PM GMT, and then US users can play between 12 PM and 1 PM EST – for East coast dwellers – and PST, for Pacific coast residents.
Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour | Increased raids
The Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour focuses specifically on raids, and players will see a greater number of raid spawns around them during this 60-minute event. This allows you to test your skills against some of the biggest and baddest Pokemon raid bosses alongside your friends and fellow gamers.
Niantic haven’t revealed if there will be any rotation regarding their current raid boss line-up. If it stays the same as previous weeks, players will have the chance to fight the likes of Deoxys, Dialga, Tyranitar, Alolan Raichu, and many more.
There’s also been no confirmation about whether this event will give you the chance to fight the higher rank tiered bosses more regularly either. Hopefully it won’t be a case of level one and two raid bosses being more regularly available.
