If you’re the sort of player who likes to look his best, you’re probably going to want to get some The Division 2 free Premium Credits. This special currency is brand new to The Division 2 and will only be used for cosmetic items purchased as a specific vendor. If you’re at all concerned about The Division 2 Premium Credits being used in a pay-to-win scheme, worry not — Ubisoft wants to keep things fair for all players. Here’s how to get The Division 2 Premium Credits for free:
Primarily, you can acquire The Division 2 Premium Credits by purchasing them from a store depending on which platform you’re playing the game on:
- PC: Purchased in-game
- PS4: Purchased in-game or via the PlayStation Store
- Xbox One: Purchased in-game or via the Microsoft Store
The amount of credits you can purchase and their price will vary on the platform, but the general rule is that 1 Premium Credit = $1.00 and you’ll get bonus credits for ppurchasing larger packages. (For example, you’ll get 500 credits for $4.99 on the Microsoft Store and 1,050 Credits for $9.99.)
The Division 2 Premium Credits | Free Premium Credits
Nine times out of ten, you’ll have to pay real money in order to get The Division 2 Premium Credits. However, Ubisoft has stated that there will be a few ways to get Premium Credits for free.
Ubisoft Club members will get a limited amount of Premium Credits at launch as a reward. It’s free to sign up, so you should go ahead and do that if you haven’t already. Missed the launch? No big deal! Ubisoft says that they may—emphasis on may—grant additional Premium Credits through the Ubisoft Club in the future. There’s no promises here, but it can’t hurt to sign up for the service just in case!
Unfortunately, Season Pass holders will not receive any The Division 2 Premium Credits for free. There also won’t be any in-game way to earn Premium Credits. For now, the only way to get them without spending real-world cash is to sign up for the Ubisoft Club. This may change in the future, but the options for getting free Premium Credits are very limited for now.
