You can change your title in Helldivers 2 to reflect your current rank in the game. However, unlike many of its peers, this is a manual process in this game. Additionally, you’re not notified when you unlock a new title, so you’ll want to know which levels you’ll get a new rank at. Fortunately, the list below should make things clear for you.
All title unlocks in Helldivers 2
There are currently 12 titles you can unlock in Helldivers 2. Most of these are ranks that signify your level in the game and are major rewards for playing. As of writing, only one of them isn’t unlocked by reaching a certain level and is instead part of a premium purchase.

How to change titles in Helldivers 2
To change your title in Helldivers 2, you’ll need to follow these instructions:
- Access the armory in your ship.
- Switch to the character tab.
- Choose the Title option at the bottom of the list.
- Apply a new title from this menu.
Again, note that new ranks aren’t automatically applied when you earn them. You also won’t see any unlock text (that we’re aware of) when a new one becomes available. So, keep the above unlock requirements in mind.
