Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order DLC Roadmap | Will there be any DLC?

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is coming out in November, and it will be a fully single-player story-based Star Wars game, the first one since The Force Unleashed II. But will there still be DLC? There could certainly be story expansions, or just cosmetics. We probably won’t be seeing any more of the gameplay until E3 in June, but now we now a bit about the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order DLC roadmap, and what EA’s current plans for DLC are. Let’s take a look.

What is the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order DLC roadmap?

We don’t know much more about Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order than the general story as of yet, and we probably won’t find out crucial details such as what the game is actually like until June. However, EA community specialist Jay Ingram recently took to Twitter to answer a few questions that fans had about the game. While he couldn’t go into too much detail on some subjects, he was remarkably candid on one question. When asked about DLC, he said that EA and Respawn have “no plans” for any DLC for Jedi Fallen Order, and that the game will be “a strong, self-contained story.”

Will there not be any DLC at all?

We don’t know if that will change, as it seems unlikely there won’t even be any story expansions or cosmetics for the game. Even by the standards of single-player story games, there’s always the desire for more content if the game is good. At the very least, there may be cosmetics for main character Cal, his lightsaber, and his droid companion BD-1, as some DLC of this type is included with the Deluxe Edition of the game. Whether EA will release more of this type, or whether that’s it for DLC for Fallen Order, we’ll probably find out at E3.
