A Days Gone intro mission truck bug is causing players to tear their hair out. People have been left frustrated that this mission includes an invisible SUV and means they cannot finish the opening mission. Find out if there’s a fix for the Days Gone intro mission truck bug below.
Days Gone Intro Mission Truck Bug | Why is the SUV invisible?
Let’s elaborate on what the Days Gone intro mission truck bug actually is then. At the very start of the game, you come across a truck that blocks your access on the road. This occurs after Deacon and Boozer speed off on your bike after you kill a guy, and this is where the problem begins.
According to people on the game’s Reddit page, the SUV isn’t showing up one you’re told that you have to move it out of your way. Reddit user Edgar133760 revealed that the truck remains invisible once you take control of Deacon again. Without being able to see where it is, you can’t move it.
Another user, called Streetprofit99, had a similar run in. They explained that the truck spawned in late and, because it didn’t show up on time, they couldn’t move it off the road either. Players are only spending 10 to 15 minutes in the opening mission before running out of patience because of this game breaking bug.
Days Gone Intro Mission Truck Bug | How to fix
There isn’t a proper Days Gone intro mission truck bug fix that has solved this issue just yet. Sony Interactive Entertainment and Bend Studio are hopefully working on one, if they know about it, but there is a solution that might work for you.
Some Reddit users have revealed that the problem can be resolved by simply leaving the mission area. If you leave, you’ll fail the mission for exiting the area. If you walk back in and load it again, however, the truck now spawns in properly.
If this doesn’t solve the problem for you, you’ll need to contact Sony’s support team here to request help with it.
