The Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia skin is unavailable for players to get after the recent May 4 community event. If you’ve been left wondering if you can get the Leia crate at some point in the future though, we’re here to help. Find out more about this with our Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia skin guide.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia Skin | Capital Supremacy community event
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia Skin was supposed to be a reward for players if the recent Capital Supremacy community event was completed. This in-game event required players to collectively capture four million command points between May 1 and May 6. If players were successful in completing it, an epic Princess Leia skin — the one with the space buns from A New Hope — would be unlocked and given to everyone who participated.
The problem was that there was a ton of server disruption in the final two days of the event. This stopped players from achieving the target set by EA DICE and, as such, the Leia skin wasn’t unlocked in time.
As it stands, if you didn’t manage to log on, you won’t get the Leia skin as part of the May 4 Community Event rewards.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia Skin | Will it be available again?
Yes, the Star Wars Battlefront 2 Leia skin will be made available to players to get again in the future. Taking to his personal Twitter account, DICE community manager Ben Walke explained how this would happen.
Walke stated that, due to the server issues last weekend, EA DICE would be giving players another chance to earn the Leia skin. He didn’t specify what date and time that people would need to be aware of, which is likely down to the fact that the developers don’t know themselves yet.
Walke went on to explain that players wouldn’t be expected to complete the challenge again though, which will be music to your ears we imagine. Once we find out more, we’ll be sure to let you know.

10 Best Star Wars Games to play before Jedi: Fallen Order
This week saw Respawn Entertainment (they of the Titanfall and Apex Legends) reveal its Star Wars project. Dubbed Jedi: Fallen Order, the single player adventure should prove to be quite a show. However, gaming already has plenty of great Star Wars adventures. Let's sort through a few of them, shall we? -
Dark Forces
Released in the heydey of Doom and Quake, Dark Forces also builds off of popular Doom mods that brought the Empire into id's version of Hell. While retro '90s shooters are sometimes an acquired taste, Dark Forces ranks right up there with the rest of the genre. -
The Old Republic
Despite what you may have assumed, BioWare's Star Wars MMORPG is still alive and kicking. Also, it's a great game to play single-player. Sure, some of the content is a bit grindy, but there's plenty of fine story moments hidden away behind the monthly fee and social hubs. It's no KOTOR replacement, but it's still worth seeking out. -
Episode 1 Racer
Episode 1 Racer bypasses being a Star Wars game and goes right into being a fine arcade racer. Bringing the best part of Phantom Menace to life, this podracing game has a huge sense of speed and plenty of mechanical depth. Indeed, this is podracing. -
Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast
Jedi Outcast may not look like much now, but it was the pinnacle of Star Wars gaming back in 2002. Continuing on from Dark Forces and its sequel, Kyle Katarn really jumps into his own in this third-person action game where lightsaber combat takes center stage. -
The Clone Wars
An oft-forgotten entry in the Star Wars gaming canon, The Clone Wars plays like an add-on campaign for one of the original Battlefront games. Developed by the same team, you can command all manner of Episode 2-era vehicle in this short but sweet dose of explosive action. -
Pinball FX3
As far as digital pinballs games are concerned, Pinball FX3 is the king of the crop, and they have a whole subset of tables devoted to George Lucas' space saga. Whether you want to play through one of the movies or hit targets based on your favorite droids, Zen Studios has you covered. -
Republic Commando
A tactical first-person shooter set in the time between Episode 2 and 3, Republic Commando is still hailed as a great example of licensed entertainment. It brings a new story to the Star Wars universe and adds to what exists instead of just cribbing from the movies for a cheap pop. -
Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2
All the Rogue Squadron games are excellent arcade flight games where you can climb into an X-Wing and complete missions for the Rebel Alliance. The later iterations have some impressive graphics that still hold up today. No Star Wars fan can pass up the opportunity to run the Death Star trench for themselves! -
The Force Unleashed
Until Jedi: Fallen Order hits shelves, The Force Unleashed and its sequel stand as the best way to experience lightsaber combat. The story of Starkiller is a great part of the extended universe, even if it no longer "counts" thanks to recent lore changes. If you want to see what Fallen Order looked like a decade ago, look no further. -
Battlefront 2 (2005)
If you're a person who loves story, you'll lean towards KOTOR, but if you're more gameplay-oriented, then the original Battlefront games are some of the best Star Wars experiences out there. Multiplayer matches on a huge scale with space and vehicular combat covered. The newer iterations may look shiny, but nothing beats Pandemic's original efforts.
