Rage 2 Project Dagger Tank Bug | Authority Base glitch

Rage 2 Project Dagger Tank Bug

The Rage 2 Project Dagger tank bug occurs during the, well, Project Dagger mission. An unexpected twist, we know. At one point during this mission, you’ll be stuck behind the controls of a tank at Authority Base and you’ll have to drive it up onto a platform.

Sounds easy enough, but players have found that they get stuck on the platform for some unknown reason. Reports have come from all corners of the internet about the problem, so much so that Bethesda has had to take to their own forums to make players aware of it. FAQ threads like this one, from the game’s publisher, show that it’s a known issue and that there is a way to fix it.

Rage 2 Project Dagger Tank Bug | How to fix

Rage 2 Project Dagger Tank Bug

The only way to fix the Rage 2 Project Dagger tank bug is to make sure that you complete all of the prerequisites for the Project Dagger mission. These include the challenges set by all three faction leaders before you get the tank. Just make sure that all of these missions are ticked in their checkboxes before you get into the tank itself. If they aren’t, go and complete them first.

Once these are done, you can jump into the tank and drive it to Authority Base. If you haven’t, you’ll have to reload an earlier save and complete these tasks before you enter the tank. If you don’t, the chances of you getting stuck again are extremely high. Don’t say we haven’t warned you now.
