Trover Saves the Universe doesn’t have a ton of puzzles, until you meet Doopy Dooper. This aloof being has a secret staircase but she is pretty hesitant to show you where it is. This makes the Trover Saves the Universe staircase puzzle quite difficult to figure out. So where is Doopy Dooper’s secret staircase on Shroomia and how do you find it? Here’s a secret: there is no staircase. You have to make it yourself because she will just keep telling stories and how you need to stack her luggage on the roof. Doopy Dooper is trying to dupe you into moving all of her boxes without even buying you pizza. In order to move on without her telling you where her alleged secret staircase is, you have just use your new grab ability to pick up the boxes and think outside the box by thinking with the box(es).
Once you do that, don’t put them by her other house with the basketball hoop especially if you want the “Don’t Get Dooped” trophy for not helping her. Instead, put them near the edge of the cliff on the right like you see in the picture right after she opens the garage. Be sure to chuck them far or away from the house because if they are close enough to the place, you might accidentally get credit for helping her.
Stack them up by the cliff on the right and run Trover over there. You only need a couple to make a tall enough staircase to be able jump up to the ledge. A long and short box work just fine. Do that and you’ll be able to outsmart Doopy Dooper. However, you won’t be able to outsmart the game’s “tricky” button puzzle.
