Survival mode

Now this is interesting. Essentially another reason to fire up the ol ‘hog, Survival mode will make things a helluva lot more difficult for Deacon during the course of the game, and acts as an ultra-hard difficulty. Not only is there a more “immersive” HUD, presumably to make getting your bearings that much harder, but the enemies also hit harder. There’s also no Fast Travel so, yep, it’s just you and your bike.

But it’s not all doom and gloom. The game now has two additional Trophies for you to nab, and they’re both tied to Survival mode.

QOL changes

Bend Studio clearly felt that the method for recovering your bike, should you lose it, wasn’t as clear as it could be. That’s why the Days Gone 1.10 update is introducing a tutorial to help guide players through finding your pride and joy. There’s also “audio improvements” for every gun in the game, as well as a more visible reticle. So those zombies can hit the ground a little more easily, which is bound to be useful for Survival mode.

Mission fixes

Finally, those who are having trouble triggering the cinematic in the mission “There’s Nothing You Can Do” should find that it’s now been fixed. Similarly, “Sherman’s Camp is Crawling” has also undergone some fixes, which you’ll see below.
