My Friend Pedro 1.02 Update

My Friend Pedro 1.02 Update Patch Notes

Unfortunately, the My Friend Pedro 1.02 update is only available on its Steam and GOG versions. There is no word of it coming to the Nintendo Switch edition of the game any time soon. It’s more than likely, however, that this update will never make its way over to the Switch version of the game, as it features some PC exclusive additions such as Vsync, uncapped frame rate and improved ultrawide support.

New Features

As far as major new features are concerned, there are two that deserve mention in the My Friend Pedro 1.02 update. Firstly, a Vsync option has been added into the game. This is good news for those of you who like to game without screen-tearing. On top of a Vsync option being added into the game, you will also be able to choose an uncapped frame rate setting, too. No more frame rate ceilings for My Friend Pedro anymore.

Changes

Alongside the addition of uncapped frame rate and Vsync options, a few changes have also taken place thanks to the 1.02 update. Ultrawide support has been improved, along with the game’s Chinese language support. The biggest change, however, is a complete reset to leaderboards. This was done in an attempt to minimize cheating. You’ll find more, such as milliseconds being added to the Level timer below in the full patch notes.
