Following the latest Candy Crush Saga update, there appears to be a new feature in the game that is confusing a lot of people; the Candy Crush Sugar Stars. Below, you’ll find all the information you could ever need on the sweet new sugary feature that has recently been added to Candy Crush Saga. We’ll let you know the answer to what are Candy Crush Sugar Stars? And we’ll tell you how to unlock them, too. Read on for all the details on the new Candy Crush feature.
What are Candy Crush Sugar Stars?
As stated above, Sugar Stars are a new addition to Candy Crush Saga. Seemingly, the new feature was introduced as part of the game’s latest update. It appears, however, that the Sugar Stars feature has not gone live for everyone as of writing. It looks as though King is testing the new feature before making it live for everyone (as of writing).
What are the Sugar Stars in Candy Crush Saga? The new Candy Crush Sugar Stars feature is simply a new form of mastery tier. You will receive Sugar Stars when you exceed the standard 3 Stars limit on a level.
Aside from a visual reminder on the game’s map that you’ve truly mastered a level, however, there doesn’t appear to be any gameplay benefit to earning Sugar Stars. You won’t get any Sugar Stars until you beat level 50, however. Once you do, Sugar Stars should be relatively simple to unlock.
After you complete level 50, you can earn Sugar Stars on any level. To earn some Sugar Stars, you will need to surpass the standard three-star Meter.
Essentially, when playing a level, the Star Meter will fill in towards three Stars as per usual. Once you reach the third Star, the Meter will change. It should now show you a new points goal. If you reach the new points goal (or surpass it), you will receive the brand new Candy Crush Sugar Stars.
Remember, Sugar Stars don’t appear to unlock anything special, instead they act as a handy visual reminder to your Candy Crush Saga mastery.
