What is the Destiny 2 Blind Well Activation Bug?

The Blind Well is a horde-mode style event. You need to charge the totem in this area using a Charge of Light token, which will kick off each Tier’s waves of enemies. Complete this challenge and you’ll be rewarded handsomely.
The problem is that you can’t activate the Blind Well using these Charge of Light tokens. There are a slew of threads on the game’s Reddit page with players asking if the event is broken for everyone else. Judging by the number of threads, and the replies to those original posts, it’s a widespread bug.
How to fix the Destiny 2 Blind Well Activation Bug
Unfortunately, there isn’t a fix for the Destiny 2 Blind Well activation bug just yet. Bungie is aware of the glitch, however, and revealed that the team is looking into it. A patch for this should be available soon as Bungie won’t want to keep players waiting if they wish to complete this challenge.
There’s a chance that you might get lucky if you play with friends or strangers. The possibility of being able to activate this event is extremely slim though if you take all of the above threads into account.
