Fortnite 2.31 Update Patch Notes

Fortnite 2.31 Update Patch Notes (10.10)

Originally scheduled for 4 AM ET (8 AM UTC), the Fortnite 10.10 update time has been delayed “due to last-minute issues discovered with the build.” This means that users on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android will all have to wait for the new Fortnite patch. This is the first downloadable update since the big Season 10 launch, potentially containing balance changes for the new items, including the controversial BRUTE mech. Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite patch delay for August 13, 2019.

When is the Fortnite 10.10 update time?

The Fortnite 1.10 delay is no doubt going to disappoint a lot of users. Players have gotten used to consistent weekly updates bringing something fresh and exciting to the game, which sets this battle royale title apart from the competition. Any delays — even if they last for just a few hours — will go noticed by millions of players. Fortnite‘s huge size is both a blessing and a curse.

After tweeting that players can expect patch 10.10 downtime to begin at 4 AM ET (8 AM UTC), the Fortnite Twitter account followed up five hours later with information about a delay.

At the time of writing, there has not yet been any update. It’s been eight hours since the above tweet was posted, and yet Epic Games has not provided any more information. There is no new ETA for downtime.

In the past, on the rare occasions where Epic Games has delayed Fortnite updates, we usually learn more information at the originally planned rollout time. So we would expect to get more information at 4 AM ET (8 AM UTC).

As for how long the Fortnite update delay will last, it’s tough to say. Depending on the severity of the issue causing the delay, Epic Games could take many days to fix the problem. However, if it’s only a minor issue, it could only be a matter of hours.
