The August 20 Destiny 2 weekly reset has arrived and, as always, we’re here with all of the details you need to know. There’s one big change coming to the game in the weekly reset today so you’ll want to know when the reset time is. As well as that, we’ll detail when the Year 2 Solstice of Heroes event is due to end, and what’s next on Bungie’s plate in the Destiny 2 weekly reset. So, without further ado, let’s dive into this week’s changes in this guide.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset (August 20) | When is the weekly reset time today?

Just like every other week since March, the Destiny 2 weekly reset time hasn’t changed. For those who are unfamiliar, however, the reset will occur at 10 AM PT, 1 PM ET, and 6 PM BST. This won’t change until Daylight Savings Time ends in October, but we’re still two months away from that.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset

Much like any other weekly reset, the Destiny 2 Ritual Reset page holds the answers for you. If you aren’t aware of what challenges and tasks have been altered for this week, you can head on over there for a full rundown.

Moving on to the major change we discussed earlier, cross-save functionality will finally be getting patched into the RPG shooter. This feature will arrive on Wednesday, August 21 so expect some server maintenance to occur and an update to appear then. Bungie has done plenty of testing on this front, but there are likely to be teething problems as it’s implemented. Remember to contact Bungie support if you run into any issues once cross-save is enabled.

The Year 2 Solstice of Heroes event has entered its final week too. It’ll end on Tuesday, August 27 so, if you haven’t received your armor, Sparrow, or emblem by then, you’ll miss out. Finally, Xur has left us once again, but he’ll be back on Friday.
