Remnant From the Ashes Tarnished Ring | Location

Remnant From the Ashes Tarnished Ring

First off, you’ll need to know where to find the Remnant From the Ashes Tarnished Ring. Unfortunately, there isn’t a set place or location that will guarantee where you can get your hands on it. Your best bet is to randomly locate it on the floor of any dungeon you come across, and even then you’ll need a huge slice of luck to find one.

There aren’t very many in-game items that are bound by random number generation (RNG), but unfortunately, this is one of those items. If you don’t find it straight away, don’t despair. You’ll come across one eventually, so keep searching.

Remnant From the Ashes Tarnished Ring | Merchant reward

Remnant From the Ashes Tarnished Ring

If you manage to find a Tarnished Ring, you’ll be wanting to know what it does. Well, it’s useless to you. However, you can trade it with someone to get a perk known as the Scavenger Trait.

You’ll need to head back to Ward 13 and find the local Merchant known as Reggie. He’s an NPC vendor who loves to gossip, but he loves Tarnished Rings just as much. Talk to him at length and exhaust all of his dialogue options. Once you have, you’ll have the chance to trigger another conversation about the ring.

Apparently, the Tarnished Ring was Reggie’s and he lost it, so returning it will complete this side-quest-of-sorts. He’ll reward you with Scrap and the Scavenger Trait perk, which allows you to get more Scrap from other sources.
