Metro Exodus The Two Colonels Update Patch Notes

Metro Exodus The Two Colonels Update Patch Notes

Metro Exodus is still one of the best games of the year months after its release, and it continues to get steady updates despite being an offline single-player title. Today’s patch, however, is rather more important than most, because it also introduces the game’s first DLC expansion in the form of Metro Exodus: The Two Colonels. We’ve got the full Metro Exodus The Two Colonels update patch notes below, which corrects a lot of the remaining problems with the game and prepares everyone for the expansion, especially on PC. Let’s take a look.

Metro Exodus The Two Colonels update patch notes | New expansion DLC

By far the biggest new addition in this patch is, of course, the expansion The Two Colonels itself. It was announced at Gamescom as releasing this week and sure enough, it’s here as promised. There is no specific size for the update, but we imagine it will be quite sizeable, in order to accommodate a large single-player expansion. The Two Colonels tells the story of the fall of Novosibirsk, the city at the end of Metro Exodus. You can check out the trailer and further details here.

Metro Exodus The Two Colonels update patch notes | Epic and Xbox Game Pass PC support

While most of the patch is about bug fixing and a bit of quality of life support, such as having multiple save slots now, on PC there a few platform-specific updates to help prepare systems for the new expansion. Both the Epic Games Store and Xbox Game Pass for PC receive a patch to add DLC support, and Epic Online Services support has also been added. There are a few graphical glitches that have been corrected, too.
