Destiny 2: New Light is now being installed on your console’s hard drive, something that could take a while seeing that it requires around 105 GB of storage space. When the download completes, you should be ready to launch Destiny 2: New Light on PlayStation 4.

While Destiny 2 changed to a free-to-play model, it still requires an active PlayStation Plus membership if you want to participate in group activities. Most free-to-play games on PS4 can be played without a PS Plus subscription, but this is something that you must possess if you plan on enjoying Destiny 2 as it should.

There is no denying that Destiny 2 free-to-play comes with a huge amount of DLC, including the year-one story content, but Bungie released the new Shadowkeep expansion on October 1, 2019. If you want to continue the Destiny 2 story, you’ll have to purchase this expansion separately, which is currently selling for $34.99 on PS4.
