It turns out that the mode just might be on the way to the Mario Kart smartphone game. Read on to discover all there is to know about Balloon Battle in Mario Kart Tour.

Mario Kart Tour Balloon Battle | Is the mode coming?

Mario Kart Tour Balloon Battle

Ever since its initial release, there has not been any form of Mario Kart Tour multiplayer. The game likes to tell you, however, that multiplayer is on the way. Unfortunately, little details regarding what the multiplayer will be or when it releases have been unveiled. Of course, everyone would like to play the classic Balloon Battle mode on the go, but it is not in the game… yet. Thanks to a leak, we know that the classic multiplayer mode might be coming to Mario Kart Tour.

According to Twitter account Mario Kart Tour News, the game has been datamined, finding the code “battleballoon” within the game’s files. This is exciting stuff. It could well mean that the Balloon Battle mode is on its way to Mario Kart Tour. We could all be playing Balloon Battle on our smartphones before long.

Unfortunately, that is all we know regarding the mode in Mario Kart Tour as of writing. While the datamine code could well mean that the mode is on its way to the game, there is no telling when this might be. It’s also no guarantee that the mode is on its way, either. Battleballoon could mean something a little different, such as a new item, or it could be something that is within the game’s files but never appears to materialize. Hopefully, though, we will be able to play Balloon Battle on our smartphones soon enough.
