Super Smash Bros Ultimate 6.1 Update Highlights
Unfortunately, there aren’t too many fixes to talk about here. As far as we know, there is just the single patch note in this new Smash Ultimate update. It just seems as this update is fixing a Terry-specific bug and nothing more. There could be more, however, as Nintendo is yet to release the full list of patch notes online. What we currently know has come from reliable Smash Ultimate bot site SSBUBot. Of course, we will update this guide as and when Nintendo releases the full list of patch notes (if there is anything more to add).

Terry Bug Fix
Since Terry released, people have been encountering a relatively rare bug when playing as him that rendered both Terry and his opponent unable to move for a short while. Occasionally, this bug would materialize when using Terry’s “Buster Wolf” Special attack. Thanks to the 6.1 update, it seems as though this bug is now gone.
You should be able to use Buster Wolf without the fear of being made unable to move afterward once you download the update. Remember, too, that you will need to update to play online and that everyone needs to share the same update version if you all wish to play local wireless multiplayer. Replays from version 6.0 and earlier will not work anymore, either, meaning you will need to convert them to video to watch them again, before you install the new update.
