If you see a long, straight piece coming down, keep your red and blue circles to the side and it'll pass right through - you won't get penalized for blocks dropping through your grid.
If you see pieces to the left or right of your grid, aligning your dots in an up-and-down fashion will let you pass through them with ease.
Learn from your mistakes or you'll never get past the first level.
