Yakuza: Like a Dragon release date

Unfortunately, Sega has gone into only a little detail regarding the Yakuza: Like a Dragon Western release date. All we know, as of writing, is that the Yakuza: Like a Dragon release date in the U.S. and U.K. is currently scheduled as 2020. We don’t know when this year the game will release, but it is meant to be released at some point in 2020 in the West. Check out the announcement trailer at the end of the guide.

While it’s disappointing that its exact release date in the West is currently unknown beyond this year, at least the game is releasing over here during the same year as its original Japanese release. There was a time, after all, where it could take up to three years for a Yakuza game to make its way to our Western shores.

Of course, we will update this guide as soon as the Yakuza: Like a Dragon release date is confirmed for the West. For now, though, you’ll have to be content with the upcoming Yakuza Remastered Collection release. From February 11, 2020, you will be able to play through each of the core Yakuza games on PS4. This means that you’ll be able to experience the entirety of Kazuma Kiryu’s story before the change to a new protagonist in Like a Dragon.
