Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth Missables

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: Are There Missables?

The Yakuza series has had missables in the past, but is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth the same? Over the last few entries, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has made the games more competitionist-friendly. However, longtime fans are likely still suffering shellshock from all the hard-to-find substories and abrupt points of no return we’ve seen in the past. If this hits home for you, then you’ll be relieved to find out everything there is to know about Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth missable below.

Are there any missable in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth?

There are no missables in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Some of the previous games in the series required you to enter Premium Adventure Mode if you didn’t hit certain substories by a specific time in the game. However, this time, most of the substories are unlocked by Chapter 6, and icons for them are automatically added to the map. So, it’s not too hard to complete almost everything the game has to offer before the credits roll.

The same principle applies to weapons and gear. There’s no chance of missing out on equipment as none of it is locked behind failable events or fights. However, there is one thing you need to keep in mind. There’s no buyback function in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and there are a few unique weapons that can only be obtained once.

For example, as far as we can see, the five-star weapon you get from completing a character’s Drink Links can’t be obtained again if sold. These are required to craft each character’s ultimate weapon, so it’s possible to lock yourself out of these even if they’re not technically missables.

Fortunately, if you beeline through the story, Premium Adventure Mode is once again available. Any activities you don’t complete during the main game can be tackled here.
