Aim for the turret of the tank at which you're firing. It's like a tank-y head shot.
Try not to expose your flanks to other tanks, for you're more vulnerable. Keep in mind that the front of your tank is the strongest.
Ramming a tank is useful if your enemy has very low health and if you're waiting to reload. It is most effective in heavier tanks (which reload very slowly).
Strafe during reloads to avoid being a sitting duck. The downside of this is that the side of your tank is particularly weak to enemy fire.
