Fortnite PvE Mode Worth It? | Should I buy ‘Save the World’?

If ever you’re starting to tire of Fortnite Battle Royale, you might be tempted to check out Save the World for a change of pace. That being said, is the Fortnite PvE mode worth it? In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to about Fortnite PvE and make an evaluation on whether or not it’s a good idea for you to purchase the premium game mode.

Fortnite PvE | Is it worth buying Save the World?

Having to pay in order to play Save the World can be a bitter pill to swallow; by comparison, the Fortnite PvP multiplayer mode is available totally free of charge. If you’re steadfast in the belief that having a fee-to-pay PvE mode is unreasonable, then there’s little harm in standing your ground. Fortnite Save the World is currently in Early Access and when development is complete, PvE will become free-to-play for everyone.

It’s worth noting, however, that the entry-level Fortnite Save the World Standard Founder’s Pack will set you back just $20. That’s the same amount of money as purchasing a Legendary skin for use in PvP, but while offering a whole lot more bang for your V-Buck.

If you’re more open to the idea of buying into this Early Access PvE mode, then you could find that the investment is worthwhile. Depending on which version of Save the World you buy, you’ll gain access to a variety of helpful items that won’t be so readily available to those that wait for Fortnite PvE to go free.

You’ll most likely have a lot of fun with Save the World as well, which is what its really all about. In PvE, there are missions, cutscenes, and voiced characters that contribute a narrative to the Fortnite game mechanics you already know and love.

Whether you opt to buy Save the World or wait for it to go free-to-play, Fortnite‘s PvE content is definitely worth a look.
