The first premium Borderlands 3 DLC revolved around long-standing and popular character Mad Moxxi, but until now, Gearbox chose to remain fairly tight-lipped about the game’s second DLC pack. Thankfully, the developers have finally opened up to provide details on Borderlands 3 DLC 2, giving fans a taste of the new expansion titled Guns, Love, and Tentacles. Keep reading to discover everything you need to know about the second Borderlands 3 DLC, including its release date, setting, and new gear.
Borderlands 3 DLC 2 release date | Guns, Love, and Tentacles release date
The second Borderlands 3 DLC, properly titled Guns, Love, and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright and Hammerlock, will release on March 26. This release date happens to arrive just 13 days after Borderlands 3 launches on Steam.
The Borderlands 3 DLC 2 follows the story of Sir Alistair Hammerlock and Wainwright Jacobs — hence the expansion’s name — as they get wrapped up in all sorts of trouble following their marriage. Gearbox promises that several familiar faces will be in attendance, including former Vault Hunter Gaige and her robot companion Deathtrap.
The second Borderlands 3 DLC includes a new location called Xylourgos. Described as a “harsh, windswept ice world,” players can expect to encounter fierce, frozen monsters and powerful occult enemies. So much for a picture-perfect wedding vacation, right? This second DLC also includes new Legendary items, new Vault Hunter heads and skins, and several new interactive Room Decorations.
