Nioh 2 Purple Kodamas | How to interact with Sudamas

Nioh 2 Purple Kodamas | How to interact with Sudamas

Nioh 2 is full of evil creatures, but some are a little more cute. There are little purple guys around that you might place in that category. They look like Kodamas but they don’t need saving. They just want something. So what are these little purple Kodamas in Nioh 2 and how do you interact with the? If you greet it, it says “It seems as though it wants something.” First off, they’re called Sudamas and they’re nice, once you get to know them. You’ll also get the Sudama Swapper trophy for this, too, so trophy hunters will want to pay attention.

You’ll find a few Sudama in some of the levels. You can greet them, but that doesn’t do anything. And it wants something, so give it to them. Go into your inventory on the items or equipment tab with the touchpad, go to any item or piece of gear you don’t want, and drop it on the ground in front of you. If you wait a few seconds and exit the menu, the little purple guy will scurry over, snatch up the item, and then give you something in return. It’s nice, given how it looks like a little demon. You should give them something every time because the payout always seems to be worth it.

There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to what it gives you. However, you should pick something relatively good since it seems to be related to what you’ll get in return. Just be careful. Don’t give it poop, which is an acceptable request, among some other random items because it can turn quite nasty and attack. Also don’t attack it either. Again, it’s common sense but don’t test the little purple Sudama.
