Pope’s Collection, a side mission in the Control Foundation DLC, gives players a simple task: find five ID cards. But it gets a little more complicated when you also have to put them in certain machines in the bottom of the Warehouse. So where are the ID cards? And where do you put them? Here’s how to solve the Foundation Pope’s Collection side mission in Control.
Control Foundation Pope’s Collection ID card puzzles solution
There are five ID cards and most of them are pretty easy to find and they’re all in and around the Warehouse. The first two are in two of the houses at the base of the Warehouse. Just search around all of the interiors of the circled buildings. They’re pretty small so you shouldn’t have a problem finding them. You’ll probably even find these before you even get the actual side quest.
Pope gives you the third one herself after formally giving you the mission. Just talk to her at the base of the Nail once you restore the first sphere key as a part of the main mission.
The next key is in the Warehouse, but you’ll need to have the Create skill, which lets you summon crystals in predetermined places. Stand in the place in the above picture and create a few platforms to jump on. The two highlighted areas show the two places you need to create crystals that you can reach by levitating up to some debris on the side. Then hop into the Warehouse from the opening in the side. The ID card is in there.
The next ID card is above the three yellow houses from the first set of cards, as you can see. It’s on a little tower-like structure and is circled in the above picture.
The last card is in the actual base of the Warehouse, which opens after you get the key from Pope. It’s right on the floor inside the circled door in the above picture. You can’t miss it.

Now you need to stay in that room in the base of the Warehouse and put the cards in the right places. It’s not too difficult because of the context clues surrounding each desk, but here are the answers. The Head of Research key goes in the above terminal, as noted by the computer.
The Chief Excavation Engineer key goes in the above terminal as the excavation tools give it away.
The Senior Cartographer’s key goes in the above terminal. The maps are sort of a dead giveaway.
The Security Chief card goes in this console. A security chief would have the firearms.
And last but not least, the Lead Physicist’s card goes in this terminal. The Newton’s Cradle gives it away.
Now you should be ready to take the elevator down and complete the mission. Be sure to come prepared.
