Do you need Twitch Prime to get Valorant?

Riot Games’ new FPS Valorant has the whole game streaming community buzzing. It’s a great game to stream, and as it so happens, watching streams is currently the only way to earn a beta key. Still, there is some confusion regarding whether or not you need Twitch Prime in order to get Valorant. Do Valorant keys only drop for Twitch Prime members? Or will a standard account suffice? You do not need Twitch Prime in order to get a Valorant key. All you need is a standard Twitch account. Once you’re logged in, simply watch eligible Valorant streams for a chance to earn a beta key and jump into the game.

It’s worth noting that you can’t just watch any old streamer playing Valorant. You’ll need to tune into specific hosts while they’re live and streaming. Check below for the list of streamers who are currently giving away beta keys. Just keep in mind that this list is subject to change as the beta moves forward.

Beyond these stipulations, there’s also no guarantee that you’ll earn a key needed to get into Valorant. It’s luck of the draw, unfortunately.
