To change your name in Clash of Clans, you need to reach the Town Hall level 5. Once you’ve unlocked the level 5 Town Hall, you can change your in-game name once, for free. If you want to change your name again, it will cost you some Gems. Each time you change your name in Clash of Clans, it will cost more Gems. Make sure you pick a name you like, else it will (literally) cost you. Below, you’ll see a list of steps to follow to change your name in Clash of Clans.

Follow these steps to discover how to change your name on Clash of Clans:

  • Unlock Town Hall level 5
  • Open the in-game Settings window
  • Select ‘More Settings’
  • Choose ‘Change Name’ from the list of options
  • Follow the on-screen instructions
