Project Warlock Shadow Warrior Easter Egg | How to get the Shadow of the East trophy

The Project Warlock Shadow Warrior Easter egg might be a little more obscure for some people since it wasn’t as big as the other Easter eggs in the game. You may only see it as the Shadow of the East trophy or achievement, which tells you to “Find that weird Chinese guy.” But where do you find Lo Wang in Project Warlock and how do you get the Shadow of the East trophy?

The Shadow of the East trophy is in E2M11, Antarctic Anomaly, which is the eleventh level in the second world in the Laboratory set. This is the snowy The Thing-inspired Antarctica world.

You almost can’t miss this trophy. On your way to get the yellow key, you’ll go through a teleporter behind a red door. You’ll then see a bunch of yellow barrels in a room with red and black stripes. In the back corner, you’ll see a huge yellow tube with a torso in it. That is Lo Wang. Just go near it to look at it to get the trophy. You’ll likely get this on accident without even trying.

Shadow Warrior was a first-person shooter series that started in 1997 from 3D Realms, the developer of Duke Nukem. The game starred Lo Wang  (the person you see in the tube) who was a ninja that killed scores of demons. That first game also had two expansions and then a reboot in 2013. The reboot then got a sequel in 2016 and even had co-op.

Of course, there are other references that are tied to trophies, too, like Duke Nukem, Serious Sam, Blood, and Doom. You can click each of the links for those guides to find those hidden heroes and get their associated trophies or achievements.
