Driveable cars should be available all over the Fortnite map, but we’d wager you will find more of them in particular locations. Right now, though, you cannot find any. As of writing, there are no new driveable cars on the Fortnite map. The Chapter 2 Season 3 trailer showed off driving and vehicular combat, but this is not in Chapter 2 Season 3 on day one. Presumably, the feature will be added at a later date, much like helicopters were in the past.

During the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 Battle Pass trailer, we could see various different driveable vehicles and cars in action. You can see from the trailer that you are able to drive a car and have a passenger shooting out the window, mobster style. As stated above, these cars are not in the game right now. It’s unclear when the feature will be added or why the new Fortnite cars are not in the game yet.

We’d wager that the driveable cars are not in the game as of writing simply because there is too much water on the map right now. If rumors are to be believed, the amount of water will slowly diminish across the Season. We could, therefore, see driveable cars added sometime into Chapter 2 Season 3. A possible Fortnite cars release date could be early-mid July 2020, mid-way through the Season. We’ll update this guide with more information when it becomes available.
