Nintendo and Sakurai today revealed that Min Min is being added into Super Smash Bros Ultimate as the next DLC fighter as the first part of the Fighters Pass 2 expansion. Smash Ultimate Min Min release date
Min Min will be available to play as in Super Smash Bros Ultimate from June 29. As long as you have purchased the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighters Pass 2 DLC expansion, you will have instant access to the new character from ARMs. As normal, you will need to download and install the game’s latest update to be able to play as Min Min.

While it was nice that in the first Fighters Pass we were treated to third party characters, it is good that new Nintendo characters are being added into the game. If you’re unaware of who Min Min is, the character was introduced to the world thanks to Nintendo’s wacky and fun new fighting IP ARMs, which launched shortly after the Nintendo Switch released. The game makes the most of the Switch’s Joy-Con controllers with in-depth motion controls employed for both arms of each character, hence the game’s title.
As a popular character from ARMs, it’s no surprise that Min Min was added to the game. The character’s stretchy arm mechanic looks fun to play as and adds yet another new dimension and strategy to Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Time will tell, of course, where Min Min slots in with the already extra-large roster in Smash Ultimate. Remember, you need to buy the Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol.2 expansion to play as Min Min and unlock the ARMs themed stage and music, to boot.
