When is the new Crash Bandicoot 4 PC release date?

At long last, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has been announced and confirmed to release on PS4 and Xbox One, but when is the new Crash Bandicoot 4 PC release date? Read on to find out if the latest adventure for Crash and the gang has been confirmed for a PC release or not. Discover below if there is a Crash Bandicoot 4 Steam or Epic Games Store release date planned or not.

When is Crash Bandicoot 4 coming to PC?

Crash Bandicoot 4 PC release date

As of writing, there is no word on a new Crash Bandicoot 4 PC release date. The game is releasing on PS4 and Xbox One on October 2, 2020, with no word on the hotly-anticipated game releasing on PC. This doesn’t mean the game won’t release on PC, however. We’d argue that a PC release date of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will happen at some point. There’s a couple of reasons for this, not least, an interesting comment from the game’s development team.

Speaking to PCGamesN, an Activision spokesperson explained that Activision is “still evaluating additional platforms for a future date.” The Activision spokesperson added, too, “stay tuned for more information.” While this doesn’t clarify whether there will be a PC release of the game or not, it does suggest that the game will release on more than what was originally confirmed.

Along with the comment above, it’s worth noting that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy released on PC a year after the game’s initial release on PS4. We wouldn’t be shocked if the same thing happened again with Crash Bandicoot 4. Again, though, nothing has been confirmed when it comes to a PC port of the game. This is conjecture. We’d like to think that a Crash Bandicoot 4 PC release date will materialize at some point. Without an official word confirming it, however, it’s difficult to say when. Potentially in 2021 is our best guess.
